That evening we ministered in the church that is on the same property as the orphanage. Auden is the pastor and we were very impressed by the way Auden welcomed everyone and prayed in both English and Spanish as his congregation usually consists of both. The local people that are part of the church speak Spanish and the people visiting the orphanage to help with various projects speak English.

After I preached a short message, with Auden as my interpreter, we began to pray for the sick. God did many wonderful miracles while we were there.

Most of our team went back to Trujillo on Wednesday afternoon. So for this ministry time it was Mikki and I and Gladys.

Trujillo

Thursday (10-11-2007)

The next morning we hopped a bus and headed back to Trujillo. We arrived there in the late morning. It was an enjoyable trip.

Shortly after we arrived home Pastor Hugo came by and picked us up to have lunch with a local business man (Daniel). He owns a tannery. We had lunch with him in his office and then prayed for he and his wife (Theresa) and for the business. Then he gave us a tour of the tannery. It was very interesting!

In the evening we had a service in the church of Pastor Juan Imanez. It had been two years since I was with his congregation. It was good to see the familiar faces and to see God touch lives.

The young  girl  in the picture to the right had been having problems in
her right hip and thigh for three months. She was crying because it hurt
her to walk  on  it.  After a few minutes of prayer all her pain was gone
and it was wonderful to see her smiling face at the  end  of  the  service
as she came up to say goodbye.

Friday (10-12-2007)

On Friday morning we went to visit a Christian school that has Kindergarten through higsh school. Ema, the administrator (owner) of this school had a radical conversion to Christianity about 5 years ago. She has since adopted the Bible and brought Christianity into the school. At first some of the parents of the children objected (being used to a Catholic influence) and removed their children but ended up bringing them back as there was no other school of this caliber around. She presently has 236 students. It is a wonderful school and many of the parents of the children have come to the Lord!

Mikki and I have been talking about doing a "School of the Supernatural" in Peru for a couple years. When the administrator of this school found this out, she offered her school building and resources to help facilitate the training time.

Then after a bite to eat at a local fish restaurant we stopped at the open market for a few minutes.

On Friday night we had dinner with the pastor and his wife and ministered in their church afterwards. I, Dave, ministered in this church two years earlier. Now, it was in a bigger facility as it had outgrown the old facility.

After the message, God began to heal many people. God is so good!

Saturday (10-13-2007)

We were invited to a birthday luncheon on Saturday at the home next doot to Pastor Hugo. The lady who runs a ministry for children in her home was having a birthday. She was joking with us that we had made it to two out of three of her last birthday dinners (we just happened to be in Peru at the right time).

Saturday night we ministered to the youth of Radio la Luz church. It was a great time of worship (some of their worship had some rap in it and it was fun). At the end of the message God began to heal people of all kinds of physical problems.

Before I preached I had some of the people that had been healed the night before share their testimony. It was powerful! Then I shared a short message and we began to pray for the sick. The 9-photo pictures are from the videos we took of them sharing the testimony of their healing. Glory to God!

After the church service the pastor took us out to lunch at a restaurant very close to the church. We had a great time of fellowship and plan on reconnecting next year.

We are creating a video of all the testimonies that we have recorded. They are all in Spanish. If you know Spanish check back to this page in a couple weeks. You will enjoy the many testimonies of God's healing touch.
