Our righteousness (right standing with God) is not based on our performance but rather on the finished work of Calvary. Jesus was made to be sin (with our sin) so that we might be made righteous (with His righteousness). The "Great Exchange" took place on Calvary for us. God wants us to receive and embrace what He did in and through Jesus Christ and walk and live in the light of it. The following are some prayers that we can boldely pray and declare based on the truth of Scripture:

I have become the righteousness of God in You. You are now my righteousness because I have partaken of Your Divine Nature. 2 Corinthians 5:21; 2 Peter 1:4

I am Your workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works. My new man is created to be like You in true righteousness and holiness. Ephesians 2:10; 4:24

Since I have been declared righteous (justified) through faith, I have peace with You God through my Lord Jesus Christ. Since I have been made righteous, I can stand in Your Presence without any sense of guilt or condemnation or sin consciousness. Romans 5:1; Hebrews 10:22

As surely as You made Jesus to be sin, so You made me to be righteous the moment I accepted Jesus Christ as Lord. I am no longer under satanic dominion. I am under the dominion of Jesus Christ. He is my Lord. 2 Corinthians 5:21; Colossians 1:13

Since I have received Your abundant provision of grace and the gift of righteousness, I shall reign in life through Jesus Christ. Romans 5:7

I have been justified freely through Your grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. Romans 3:24

The Blood of Jesus Christ has cleansed my conscience from acts that lead to death, so that I may serve the Living God. For by one sacrifice You have perfected me forever. Hebrews 9:14; 10:14
